Fortnite has dominated the video game world since its release for PC and console, and now with the iOS version slowing rolling out to more and more people, its primed to take over the mobile market. Whether you've been lucky enough to have the game, or are still waiting for your invite to the mobile version, you may be wondering what it's all about.
There is a an epicgameslauncher folder and a fortnitegame folder. Both contain the folder named saved and inside the saved folder is again a folder named logs. The launcher mostly logs updates and stuff and is not that important (but for sure might get important when the game runs into problems like the ones we have since 5.4). The game continually updates the experience with new guns, map updates and new guns. Keep in mind Fortnite is not entirely free, only ‘Fortnite Battle Royale” is free. Although you can make money by selling V-Bucks. The full version of Fortnite is not free it costs around $42 USD. Fortnite Update New Version.
News and updates
As Fornite on mobile is relatively new and still on an invite-only game, there is lots of news and updates coming down the pipe. If you want to stay up-to-date on all the latest developments with the game, we've got you covered!
Invite codes
To get in on the action for Fortnite on iPhone and iPad, you'll need an invite code to access the game. Invite codes can come from two different places; Epic Games themselves, or a friend who has Fornite on their iOS device already.
Mobile controls
Since Fortnite was originally a PC and console game, many people have wondered how the controls would work on the mobile version. While Fornite on iOs isn't currently compatible with MFI Controllers, the on-screen controls handle pretty well and offer a solid experience.
Tips and tricks
Mastering the 100-player free-for-all style of Fortnite can be tricky, and since the game has been out for a while on console and PC, some players will be a little better prepared for the task.
If you're looking to get started in Fortnite, we've compiled some very handy tips and tricks that you can use to survive as long as you can!
Cross-platform multiplayer
Though Fortnite is now an up-and-coming mobile game on iOS, it began as a brawl mode for Fortnite's console and desktop versions (PS4, Xbox, Mac, and PC). And thanks to Epic's underlying account system, you'll be able to play with friends on (almost) any other platform.
Hands on!
So far, I have been extremely impressed with Fortnite, and it's hooked me far more than I initially thought.
A big reason for why I love it so much is just how well it's produced. It looks and feels like an AAA console game — and that's hard to do on mobile. In addition, Epic Games took its time to really think about how mobile gamers play games, then built the game with on-the-go experiences in mind. I love that.

Fortnite players across platforms have taken to Reddit and Twitter over the past day to point out a few performance bugs plaguing the game in the wake of the new 'High Stakes' event, with a glut of users calling the iOS game unplayable over the last 12 hours.
Following the complaints, Epic Games this morning responded to players, stating that it is aware of the iOS performance issues and that it has begun working on a fix, which will be shared in an update 'as soon as possible.' The update is being tested internally, but no word was given on when it'll be out.
Recently, rumors suggested that Epic Games was working on Fortnite for the Apple TV, but the company confirmed that it 'isn't planning to bring Fortnite to Apple TV.'

Hey everyone,Fortnite on iOS has been a popular mobile alternative to the PC and console game, offering users the chance to play the well-known 'Battle Royale' mode while on the go. Fortnite initially launched as a beta on iOS in March and then expanded wide in April. The smartphone apps are focused entirely on Fortnite's PvP Battle Royale mode, but the console and desktop versions of the game also include a PvE mode called Save the World.
We know that iOS performance is in a rough state, but we want to let you know that we've fixed the issues and are working on getting a patch out as soon as possible. We know you’re eager to get started on those High Stakes Challenges and try out the Getaway LTM. We'll let you know as soon as we have an update for when the patch will go live.
